چکیده
The conjectural equivalence of curve counting on Calabi-Yau 3-folds via stable maps and stable pairs is discussed. By considering Calabi-Yau 3-folds with K3 fibrations, the correspondence naturally connects curve and sheaf counting on K3 surfaces. New results and conjectures (with D. Maulik) about descendent integration on K3 surfaces are announced. The recent proof of the Yau-Zaslow conjecture is surveyed .

Self-correspondences of K3 surfaces via moduli of sheaves and arithmetic hyperbolic reflection groups
An integral hyperbolic lattice is called reflective if its automorphism group is generated by reflections, up to finite index. Since 1981, it is known that their number is essentially finite. We show that K3 surfaces X over C with reflective Picard lattices can be characterized in terms of compositions of their self-correspondences via moduli of sheaves with primitive isotropic Mukai vector: Th...
متن کاملCoherent sheaves on general K3 surfaces and tori
Let M be a K3 surface or an even-dimensional compact torus. We show that the category of coherent sheaves on M is independent from the choice of the complex structure, if this complex structure is generic.
متن کاملEquivalences of Derived Categories and K3 Surfaces
We consider derived categories of coherent sheaves on smooth projective varieties. We prove that any equivalence between them can be represented by an object on the product. Using this, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for equivalence of derived categories of two K3 surfaces.
متن کاملIntroduction to Deformation Theory
We give an introduction to deformation theory with a special focus on the moduli space of semistable sheaves and the Quot-scheme. These are notes to a talk given during Spring 2016 at the graduate seminar on moduli of sheaves on K3 surfaces joint between MIT and NEU.
متن کاملSome Examples of Isomorphisms Induced by Fourier-mukai Functors
In order to investigate sheaves on abelian varieties, Mukai [Mu1] introduced a very powerful tool called Fourier-Mukai functor. As an application, Mukai ([Mu1], [Mu4]) computed some moduli spaces of stable sheaves on abelian varieties. Recently, Dekker [D] found some examples of isomorphisms of moduli spaces of sheaves induced by Fourier-Mukai functors. As an application, he proved that moduli ...
